General Election is 1 day away. Here’s how voting is going

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The 2024 General Election is just a day away, and ballots are continuing to pour in on Oahu.
As of Saturday, election officials said over 13,900 mail-in ballots were received bringing the total received to 255,169.
A little over 2,000 people voted in-person on Saturday, bringing in-person voting to a total of 11,404.
Voter turnout is noticeably higher in the general than during the primary which saw a low voter turnout.
Voters are urged to get their ballots in ahead of Election Day which is on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
You can either turn in your ballot at a drop box or vote in-person at a voter service center.
Polls close at 7 p.m. and ballots must be received by then to count.
